COUNSELING
Pastoral counseling is for every season of life. It adds the spiritual dimension of care to counseling sessions that many counselors and therapists omit. Pastoral counseling utilizes a faith-based lens in its approach, application, and use. I offer pastoral counseling as an ordained minister, not as a licensed clinician, therapist, or behavioral sciences agent regulated by the State of Kansas.
Pastoral counseling is protected under the Kansas Confidential Clergy Communications Privilege Law. Communication with a duly ordained minister is private and confidential. Know that I will strictly guard your sessions as a confidential communication and protect your privacy.

How do you conduct pastoral counseling sessions?
I practice solutions-focused pastoral counseling. It places the focus on a person's present and future, circumstances, along with the goals to get there. This type of counseling is focused on goals to improve and change, rather than dwelling on past experiences. I believe that heart change can make life change for everyone.
How long are counseling sessions?
All counseling sessions are 60-90 minutes.
How much does pastoral counseling cost?
Individual sessions are $75. Couple sessions are $100.
